The Way to the Sacred
Revised edition, ca. 330 pages, 11 in full colour
Suitable for both people new to Steiner and those familiar with his teachings. This book is the only comprehensive guide to meditation and spiritual experiences ever written in the Steiner movement. It answers the question, "what happens when spiritual experiences occur and when spiritual consciousness develops?" This book was made possible from Dr Anderson's collection, made in the 1980s, of some 3,000 pages of notes from Steiner's private meditation lessons to his students, and is enriched by his own experiences.
The Foundation Stone Meditation: a new commentary
New, revised edition, ca. 100 pages.
Not suitable for those new to Steiner's teachings. Dr. Anderson’s insight into this text has enabled him to accurately translate this key meditative text; given in 1923 at the re-founding of the anthroposophical society. This verse is designed to assist the meditant to become attuned to the core and living essence of anthroposophy. The book also contains a meticulous translation of the key lecture on this verse by Steiner, and other background information to the foundation ceremony of the first Goetheanum.
